Obituary of Erika O. Boettcher

Beloved sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, of Union

Erika O. Boettcher - Born April 24, 1928, in Ober Tannwald, Czechoslovakia, and died December 10, 2023, at Brightview Warren.

Married to the late Werner Boettcher and survived by her sister Hannelore Krieger and family of Canada, her close cousin Eva Szardinings and family in Germany, many nieces and nephews in Canada and Germany, and also many friends.

Erika and Werner immigrated to the United States in 1954. They lived in Union, NJ for 64 years and belonged to the local German club. She worked for Schering-Plough/Merck for 25 years. Erika loved gardening, belonging to a local Chrysanthemum Club, and was an avid skier.

Erika will be entombed in Hollywood Memorial Park, Chapel of Remembrance, in Union, NJ, but services will be private.
