Obituary of Shirley Lorraine LeBoeuf
Shirley LeBoeuf, 88, of Warren, N.J., died on September 20, after a long illness. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 26, at Wilson Memorial Church, Hillcrest Boulevard, Watchung, N.J., at 10 a.m. Hours of visitation at Higgins Home for Funerals, Mountain Boulevard, Watchung, N.J., will be on September 25, from 4 to 8 p.m. To send condolences, please go to www.higginsfuneralhome.com.
Shirley was born in Newark, NJ and had lived in Warren since 1961. She was a graduate of Arts High School in Newark, N.J. She was a clerk in the Warren Township Board of Health from 1966 to 1996. She co-founded the Warren Township Senior Citizens Center in the early 1970's. Shirley was a devoted lover of music. She never missed her children or grandchildren in any concert or play.
Shirley was predeceased by her husband, Norman LeBoeuf, her brother, Wesley Maxwell, and son-in-law, Brian Vanicky. She is survived by her four sons, Alan and his wife, Dawn, of Hillsborough, N.J., Glenn of Atlantic Highlands, N.J., Keith and his wife, Colleen, of Alexandria Township, N.J., Brian and his wife, Marguerite, of Basking Ridge, N.J., and her daughter, Nancy Vanicky, of Bridgewater, N.J. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Claire, Kevin, Michael, Marisa, Matthew, Emily, Collette, Tommy, Bridgette, Elizabeth, Lauren and Max.
