Obituary of Robert Lobosco
Robert Lobosco, age 72, died on Monday, September 22, 2014 at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, PA. Born in Elizabeth, he resided in Fanwood then moved to Bridgewater in 1976, where he lived for many years before moving to Easton, PA five years ago.
Bob served in the US Army during the Vietnam War from 1964-1970. He received his BA from Pace University, NY in Accounting and Data Processing in 1974. Prior to retiring in 2001, Bob worked for forty years at AT&T in Basking Ridge and Bedminster.
In his spare time Bob enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family.
Predeceased by his son Staff Sgt. Andrew Lobosco in 2009, who died in combat while serving his country during Operation Enduring Freedom.
Bob is survived by his wife Bonnie (Kostiuk) Lobosco; his daughter Lisa (Lobosco) Reinhardt and her husband Hans Reinhardt; and his brother Vincent Lobosco.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 24th from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. A gathering will be held on Thursday, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 12 p.m. committal prayer and entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge.
