A proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, Dick served with distinction during the Vietnam War, stationed at the Philadelphia Naval Base as a corpsman. His military service deeply influenced him, inspiring a lifelong commitment to supporting fellow veterans.

Dick's artistic side shone through in his work as a freelance photographer, capturing weddings and special events. He also gave back to the community, volunteering with the Watchung Rescue Squad, and indulged his love for the water, from sport fishing to scuba diving as a certified dive master.
