I am so sorry for your loss of your mother, Greg. You have been a caring and loving son, dedicated to her welfare and always there for her as well as for your entire family. You have been at your mother’s side and have shepherded her through both tragedy and loss, her husband Robert, and triumph as she received accolades and career successes.
Fran was my colleague at MHS. She was my mentor. She was and will always be my dear friend. Fran guided her students with diligence, with service to them and with care for them that followed them to their future lives. More than that, however, she loved her kids. She loved her work especially because she felt that it was her joy. She engaged with all at the high school as those she considered to be her second “family”. Fran was one of grace, intellect, kindness and dignity. She did tell me once that she wanted to be “just a mensch”; indeed, she was, and that is a high compliment. I will mis you, my friend.
May your memory be a blessing and may you rest in peace.
