Obituary of Cornelius R. Huff
Cornelius R. Huff, 83, died peacefully at his home in Green Brook, NJ on October 3, 2014 after a long illness. He is survived by his wife Lenore, children Susan, Martin (Celine), and Stephen (Loideth), and grandchildren Shaina, Kyle, Karlee, and Briana.
Mr. Huff served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. His many charitable works included the construction of chapels, schools, and clinics: his loss will be felt in many locations around the world.
A lifelong rail fan, Mr. Huff was a member of the NRHS and Jersey Central Railway Historical Society, as well as a supporter of rail and trolley museums around the country.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Blessed Sacrament RC Church in Martinsville followed by the inurnment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Basking Ridge.
