Obituary of Joseph J Puglisi, Jr.

Joseph J. Puglisi, Jr., age 76, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Born and raised in Plainfield, he has resided in Watchung since 1972. Joseph was a Veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Puglisi was the founder of Puglisi Insurance Agency in Scotch Plains. He was the managing partner at King George Racquet Ball and Health Club in Green Brook. Mr. Puglisi enjoyed golfing, fishing, traveling and running. He mostly loved spending time at his Lavallette beach house where he was able to spend time with his family near the ocean. He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia, his son, Paul George Puglisi and his wife, Belinda Marie Doyle Puglisi and his daughter, Dina Marie Puglisi. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from 4-7:30 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. service at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Palliative Care Program, Overlook Foundation, 36 Upper Overlook Rd, P.O. Box 220, Summit, NJ 07902-0220.
