Obituary of David J.H. Nicoll

David J. H. Nicoll, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family and devoted dog, Darwin. He is survived by his wife and companion of 57 years, Valerie, his children, Kim Dilger and Lorraine Nicoll, grandchildren, Matthew Dilger and his wife Edina and Nicole Dilger and great grandchildren, Jaylan and Emma. David was a world traveler, having friends both rich and poor. Those who met him never forgot him for his humanity and compassion. Above all he was a gentleman and will be missed by all he touched. May he rest in peace. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. Cremation is private.
