A memory of his with me that he always love to tell was when I ruined his wedding night. At 17 months and the summer my uncle and aunt Mari Luz were getting married, my mom sent me to the Basque country to be with my aunt Mari Luz and family as she had just given birth to my sister Ann Marie. On their wedding night, they left to spend the night at the fancy hotel in town, but low and behold I was not having it. They both had to leave the hotel because I was crying hysterically and the only one that knew me and how to calm me down was my aunt. A night to remember! To this day, he never let me forget I jow that night he had to stay with the entire family in the baserri because of me. I have so many more funny memories with him. Here’s to you tio! Love Lucy!
