Obituary of Christina Jean Endsley

Warren: Christina "Chris" Jean Endsley age 65, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Born in Plainfield and raised in Warren, Mrs. Endsley moved west and raised a family in Longmont, CO before returning to Warren seven years ago. She graduated from Watchung Hills High School in 1967, before earning her Bachelor's in English from Montclair State University and a Master's Degree in Education from the University of Colorado. Though having taught in both New Mexico and Colorado, she most fondly recalled her first teaching assignment at Laguna Acoma Jr. Sr. High School in the Acoma Reservation, New Mexico. She found pleasure in the company of family and friends; in traveling the world; in experiencing the outdoors; in creating a meal; and in the written word. She is predeceased by her father John Coley Sr., husband Neil Endsley II and her step-son Kurt Endsley. She is survived by her mother Mary (Mae) Coley, daughter Jacqueline Endsley and her spouse Evan, her step daughter Kimberly Pace and her spouse Robert and their son Patrick; and her brother John Coley Jr., his wife Pamela and their four daughters, Laura, Kelly, Sara and Jessica. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday November 30, 2014 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. Memorial donations may be made to the National MS Society.
