Obituary of Carmine Triola

Carmine Triola, age 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, January 16, 2015. Born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ, he resided in Bridgewater for 37 years before moving to Basking Ridge for 10 years. Carmine and Marge have a home in Wellington, FL as well as a home in Branchburg, NJ where they have lived for the past two years. Carmine Triola was the Director of Sales for Best Provisions in Newark, retiring in 2012. Carmine was also very involved in the food industry including having been with Wakefern and Mayfair Corporation. He was a member of the Martinsville Knights of Columbus and the Somerville Elks. He served on the Bridgewater Republican Committee. Carmine's greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his 11 grandchildren. He is predeceased by his son, Jeffrey Triola in 2007. Surviving are his beloved wife of 55 years, Margaret; his daughters, Sherryl Perry and her husband, Michael, Karen Cagnassola and her husband, Peter, Stacey Heft and her husband, Brad , Michelle Lazarczyk and her husband, John and his 11 grandchildren, Talia Perry, Austin Perry, Sydney Triola, Carmen Triola, Madison Heft, Kimberly Cagnassola, Camillo Lazarczyk, Logan Heft, Owen Heft, Valencio Lazarczyk and John Robert Cagnassola and his daughter in law, Lila Julian Triola. He is also survived by a brother and three sisters. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2014 from 1-3 and 6-9 p.m. at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. Funeral services will begin on Wednesday, January 21 at 9:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Resurrection at St. James RC Church in Basking Ridge.. Entombment will follow at Somerset Hills Memorial Park in Basking Ridge.
