Obituary of Louis Feinberg
Louis Feinberg, age 93, died peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at Somerset Medical center in Somerville. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and had been a resident of North Plainfield since 1952.
Mr. Feinberg served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Prior to his retirement in 1984, he was the owner of Shore Haven, a mobile home park in Hazlet and also a real estate developer in Central Jersey.
Mr. Feinberg was a longtime congregant of Temple Sholom in Fanwood and belonged to the Jewish War Veterans.
He loved gardening, cooking, telling jokes, traveling and most of all, spending time with his family.
He is predeceased by his wife, Nettie Kolinsky Feinberg in 1989.
Surviving are his daughters, Eileen Feinberg and her husband, David Siegel and Laura Feinstein and her husband, Barry; his longtime companion, Rita Ringel; his grandchildren, Michael Feinstein and his wife, Jill, Daniel Feinstein and his wife, Melissa and Jeffrey Siegel; his great grandchildren, Noah Feinstein, Sofia Feinstein, Kyle Feinstein and Kayden Feinstein.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 3rd at 11:30 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung followed by interment at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge.
