Obituary of Harry E. Knudson, Jr.
Watchung: Harry E. Knudson, Jr., a resident of Watchung, died on Thursday, August 24, 2006 at Runnells Specialized Hospital in Berkeley Heights. He served the U.S. Navy during World War II. His many accomplishments include but are not limited to: President of the Board of Wilson Memorial Church, Board Member for the Trenton Psychiatric Hospital, Board Member for the Frost Valley YMCA, Chairman of the Board for (NEMA) National Electrical Manufacturing Association, a member of the (EMC) Electrical Manufacturing Club, President of the Federal Pacific Electric Company in Newark, and Vice President of STE Sylvania, Company in Mass. Harry was an avid sailor, skier and world traveler. All knew Harry as an honest man of high moral fiber who shared a special and wonderful love with his wife Andy. May God be with you and Rest in Peace. He is survived by his wife, Anne Howland Knudson, his daughter, Anne, his son, Erik, his son-in-law Brian Fitzpatrick, his daughter-in-law Cortney, his grandchildren, Ryan and Tess Fitzpatrick and his brother Don Knudson and his wife, Elfie. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 26th at 10:00 a.m. at Wilson Memorial Church, Watchung with Rev. Barbara Peters officiating, followed by the interment at Somerset Hills Memorial Park in Basking Ridge. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
