Obituary of Sally Gross
No. Miami Beach, FL: Sally Gross, 92, died Saturday, August 26, 2006 at Wexner Heritage House in Columbus, OH. Born in Poland, she resided in New York, Long Island, Poughkeepsie and Plainfield before moving to No. Miami Beach in 1975. In 1956, she and her husband Harry purchased the Capitol Bakery on W. Front Street in Plainfield. She retired in 1975. Sally loved to read and knit assorted articles for charitable causes. Her husband predeceased her in 1981. Surviving are two sons, Dr. Robert Gross and his wife Deborah of Plainfield and Stephen Gross and his wife Sue of Wall; two daughters, Arlene Kaplan and her husband David of Gillette and Sue Schilling and her husband Dr. Stuart of Columbus, OH and four grandchildren, Jeff and Jon Gross, Dr. Richard Schilling and David Schilling. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, August 28, 2006 at 11 am at Beth Israel Memorial Park Cemetery in Woodbridge. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Jewish Community Hospice at Wexner Heritage Village, 1151 College Ave., Columbus, OH 43209. Arrangements are under the direction of Higgins Home for Funerals, Watchung.
