I met Mrs. Haigney in 1982, when Liz & I graduated from Indiana University. She had a great sense of fun.
Liz and I went with her to see "Me and My Girl" at the Marquis Theater in 1986. We chatted about the cast, the singing, the costumes, and the audience. After the show, Mrs. Haigney turned to us and suggested hanging by the stage door to snag an autograph from the handsome lead, Robert Lindsay. We waited, but no Robert. No matter; she made a Saturday matinee outing into an adventure.
