Obituary of Lillian Harriet Pashin

Lillian Harriet Pashin, age 90, died on Saturday, July 12, 2003 at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield. Born in Plainfield, she lived there for 89 years before moving to North Plainfield a short time ago. Miss. Pashin was a graduate of Cornell University in New York. Prior to her retirement in 1978, she worked as an accountant for American Smelting and Refining Co. in Newark. She enjoyed music, theater and watching all types of sports. She is predeceased by her parents, Jacob and Fannie Pollock Pashin, and her brother, Harold Pashin. Surviving are her sister, Doris J. Hecht, with whom she resided with in North Plainfield; one niece, Toby Hecht of Dunellen; and one nephew, Jerry Pashin of Belmar. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 15th at 10:30 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 461 Somerset Street, North Plainfield, NJ 07060 with Rabbi Moshe Samber officiating. Interment will follow at Hebrew Cemetery in South Plainfield.
