Obituary of Helen Burfield Miller

Helen Burfield Miller, age 97, died on Monday, July 14, 2003 at her home in Scotch Plains. Born in Orange, NJ, she moved to Scotch Plains in 1954. Mrs. Miller is predeceased by her husband, Edward F. Miller, who died in 1997 and two brothers, George and Charles E. Burfield. She is survived by her nephew, Charles P. Burfield of Westfield; two nieces, Patricia Dancsecs of Parsippany and Mary Nell Gould of Huntington, W.V.; 8 great nieces and nephews and many great-great nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Scotch Plains. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Arrangements are by Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Boulevard, Watchung.
