To the family of Nelda Harthan,
I did not know Nelda personally, but I do understand how the loss of someone dear to you can be an overwhelming challenge to endure. As Nelda was a past member of First United Methodist Church in Plainfield (now known as Covenant United Methodist Church (CUMC), since our merging with the North Plainfield Church)I wanted to take this time to express sincere condolences to you from the members of CUMC for the loss of your loved one. I am sure that there are those who cherish fond memories of their time spent with Nelda still attending the church. Our prayers will be with you during our time of worship on Sunday.
