Obituary of Frances Marie Estenes

Frances Marie Estenes, age 86, passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2003 in her beloved town, Berkeley Heights. Frances was born in Newark and moved to Berkeley Heights when she was eight years old. She attended Diamond Hill and Columbia School and was a parishioner of the old Stony Hill Church (St. Marys ) Frances worked at Phillips Electronics for ten years before retiring. She was an avid sewer, knitter and crochet artist. Her love for bright colors was her signature in the blankets that she made. She also belonged to the Berkeley Heights and Green Brook Senior Citizens groups. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael M. Estenes, Jr. in 1980. Surviving are her three daughters, Carol Schiffhauer, Linda Giusti and Janet Estenes; nine grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services took place on Wednesday, August 6th from Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Boulevard, Watchung, followed by a Funeral Mass at Church of the Little Flower in Berkeley Heights. Entombment was held at Somerset Hills Memorial Park in Basking Ridge
