Charles Fallon, age 92, died on Sunday, August 17, 2003 at Berkeley Heights Convalescent Center in Berkeley Heights. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Middletown, NY and Plainfield before to moving to Warren 40 years ago.
Mr. Fallon received his BS from Perdue University in 1936. Prior to his retirement in 1975, he was an Accountant for Western Electric/Lucent Technologies in Kearny, NJ for 37 years.
He was a member of the Old Guard in Plainfield and the Methodist Church of Mount Horeb in Warren. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed playing baseball while growing up and through college. He loved working outside and being with his family.
Mr. Fallon is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Margaret (Davitt) Fallon of Warren; his son, William Fallon and his wife Nancy of Frenchtown; two daughters, Margot Downes and her husband Martin of Toms River and Mary Matarazzo and her husband Robert of Columbia; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be private. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Methodist Church of Mount Horeb, 42 Liberty Corner Road, Warren, NJ 07059. Arrangements are by Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Boulevard, Watchung.
