Obituary of Lottie Capparelli

Lottie (Alfonso) Capparelli, age 87, died on Saturday September 6, 2003 at Genesis Elder Care - The Woodlands. Mrs. Capparelli was born in Jersey City and had resided in South Plainfield before moving to Piscataway in 1964. Prior to retiring, Mrs. Capparelli worked for many years as a seamstress in South for a dress make in South Plainfield. She was an avid bowler until two years ago and enjoyed gardening. Mrs. Capparelli is predeceased by her husband Joseph Capparelli in 1993; two brothers Louis and Frank Alfonso; and a sister Peggy King. She is survived by a son Joseph Capparelli in Hallandale, FL; two daughters Eleanora Phillips and her husband Kenneth of North Plainfield and Joanie Harter and her husband Russell of Middlesex. Also surviving are twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 8:15 am on Wednesday September 10th ,2003 at Higgins Home for Funerals 752 Mountain Blvd. Watchung NJ, followed by a 9:00 am Funeral Mass at St. Lukes R.C. Church in North Plainfield. Entombment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
