Obituary of Thelma W. Finney

Mrs. Thelma W. Wittpenn Finney, 74, died Monday, September 15 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Born in Jersey City, Mrs. Finney resided there before moving to Warren 35 years ago. Prior to retiring, Mrs. Finney was employed as a customer service representative for Bell Telephone in Elizabeth for 12 years. A graduate of Douglas College for Women, she was a poodle breeder and member of the Plainfield Kennel Club and Somerset Hills Kennel Club. Surviving are her husband of 51 years, Robert Finney, a cousin Linda and her husband Mark Maglione of Jackson Township and her pet Champion Black Poodle, April. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2003 at 10:00 am at the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, followed by entombment at Somerset Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Basking Ridge.
