Obituary of Otto J. Polidori

Otto J. Polidori, age 76, died on Tuesday, November 4, 2003 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Mr. Polidori was a life long resident of Plainfield. Prior to his retirement in 1979, Mr. Polidori had worked for the town of Plainfield as a Firefighter for 27 years. He was a communicant of St. Marys R. C. Church in Plainfield and enjoyed fishing, baseball games and going to the race track. Mr. Polidori is predeceased by his parents Salvatore and Rosa (Fioravanti) Polidori; and his brother Mario in January of 2000. He is survived by his brother John J. Polidori of South Plainfield; three nieces and nine great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services will begin on Saturday, November 8th at 8:15 a.m. from Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield, followed by a 9:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Marys Church in Plainfield. Interment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in South Plainfield. Visitation will be on Friday, November 7th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
