Obituary of Marcella Molinari

Marcella Savelli Molinari, age 88, died on Wednesday, November 26th. Mrs. Molinari was born in Lenola, Italy and had lived in North Plainfield since 1954. Prior to her retirement, she worked in food preparation for Apps Lasagna in North Plainfield for 15 years. She was a longtime member of St. Josephs R.C. Church in North Plainfield. She was an excellent cook and loved to help out at Forest Lodge Catering in Warren during her retirement. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Molinari is predeceased by her husband, Esterino E. Molinari (1984). She is survived by her son, Santo Molinari of North Plainfield; her daughter, Rose Mastroianni and her husband Anthony, and their two children of Annandale; four step-sons, George, Frank, Charles and Esterino, Jr.; one brother, Eugenio Pasqualino Savelli of Tivoli, Italy; and many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 29th at 9:00 am from Higgins Home for Funerals, 461 Somerset Street, North Plainfield, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass at St. Josephs R.C. Church in North Plainfield. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Scotch Plains. Visitation will be on Friday, November 28th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
