Obituary of John McIlrath Irvine III

John McIlrath Irvine III, 46, of Berkeley Heights and Long Lake, NY, died Friday, November 28, 2003 at his home in Berkeley Heights of lung cancer. Born in Orange, he resided in Chatham before moving to Berkeley Heights in 1992. Mr. Irvine was a 1976 graduate of Chatham Township High School. Son of the late Chester A. Irvine and the late Susan B. Irvine formerly of Chatham, he owned and operated Irvine Contracting Co. until his death. He leaves behind a sister, Linda Irvine, also of Berkeley Heights and a brother James and sister-in-law Carol Irvine of Warren. Also surviving him are a nephew, Scott B. Irvine of Albany, NY, a niece Molly M. Irvine of Warren and many good friends. Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung. He will be interred in Long Lake Cemetery in Long Lake, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to the Atlantic Home Care & Hospice, 33 Bleeker St., Millburn, NJ 07041 would be appreciated.
