Obituary of Sherry Harnick

Sherry Harnick, age 79, died on Tuesday, December 9th at Runnells Specialized Hospital in Berkeley Heights, NJ. Mrs. Harnick was born in New York, was raised in Sea Gate, NY and lived in Mamaroneck, NY before moving to Watchung over 25 years ago. Prior to her retirement in 1980, Mrs. Harnick was a secretary/treasurer for over 15 years for Golden Arrow Graphics in New York City. Mrs. Harnick was a member of the League of Women Voters in Mamaroneck. She loved cooking for everyone, she was an avid reader but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Mrs. Harnick is survived by her husband, Robert Harnick of Watchung; her son, Dr. Donn Harnick of NY; her daughter Jill Parker and her husband, Steve of Watchung; two sisters, Sylvia Atlas of FL and Helen Platt of NY; two grandchildren, Scott Parker of NY and Kerri Parker of CA. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 12th at 11:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Boulevard. Interment will be at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ.
