Obituary of Lee Lombardo

Lee Alfieri Lombardo, age 81, died on Saturday, December 20, 2003 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Frank and Grace Silvestri Alfieri, Mrs. Lombardo resided in Warren for the past 43 years. Mrs. Lombardo worked for the Burroughs Corporation in Warren for 20 years retiring in 1984. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Mount R.C. Church in Warren. A member of the Democratic Party in Somerset, and belonged to the Lady Elks in Watchung. Mrs. Lombardo was a great cook. She enjoyed cooking for anyone in need. Mrs. Lombardo is survived by her husband, Alexander Lombardo. Her son, Michael Lombardo and his wife Sandra of Branchburg. Two sisters, Nora Glianna and Jessie Miscione of Ridge, Long Island. And two grandchildren, Cass and Carly Lombardo. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, December 23rd at 9 a.m. from the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Boulevard, Watchung followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Mount R.C. Church, Warren. Interment will be in Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge. Visitation will be on Sunday 7-9 p.m. and Monday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
