Obituary of Idaline P Frankel

Idaline P. Frankel, 82 of Watchung, NJ died on Thursday, November 22, 2012 at her home with her family by her side. Ida was predeceased by her husband, Chester L. Frankel in 2007 and her sister, Cecilia Pozarowski in 1994. She is survived by her sister, Priscilla Conde of Nokomis, FL; her daughter, Donna Manganelli; step-children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a precious great-granddaughter. Born in Newark, NJ, Ida spent most of her life in the insurance business. She worked a number of years at Feist & Feist in Newark before joining her husband in business at Lewis-Chester Associates. While working in the family business she was dedicated to building the insurance portion of the company. Ida was passionate about her work not retiring until the age of 78. Outside of her proud professional life, Ida was an avid golfer, talented painter, and frequent traveler. She was a generous woman who wanted to help any person or cause she could. Ida's generosity was only superseded by her adoration and love for her family. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 26, 2012 at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be on Sunday, from 2-6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
