Obituary of Ann Amoddio

Ann T. Amoddio, age 92, died on Wednesday, Novemeber 21, 2012 at Quakertown Center in Quakertown, PA.She was born and raised in New York until the age of 10, then resided in Watchung and Plainfield for 61 years and most recently lived in Bethlehem, PA. Prior to her retirement in 1985, she was a packer for C.R. Bards in Summit. Mrs. Amoddio was a former Communicant of St. Bernard's and Stanislus Church in Plainfield. She was a huge supporter of the Humane Society and loved to shop and spend time with her family. She is predeceased by her husband, Dominick Amoddio in 2001, her brother, Ralph Lipella, her sisters, Mary Gellowick and Josephine Santo. Surviving are her daughter, Barbara Cristy and her husband, William and her granddaughter, Noelle Sullivan and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will begin on Monday, November 26th at 9:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street Plainfield followed by a 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Bernard's and Stanislaus Church. Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 to 4 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Plainfield Humane Society, 75 Rock Ave., Plainfield, NJ 07060
