Obituary of Anna Monahan

Anna Catherine Monahan nee Connell, age 91, died Friday, January 23, 2004 at Norwood Terrace Health Center in Plainfield. Born in Newark, she resided in Toms River for 15 years before moving to Watchung 3 years ago. Prior to retiring many years ago, Mrs. Monahan was employed as an office worker for Abbey Bindery in Newark for 5 years. Her husband Andrew Monahan predeceased her in 1980. Surviving are a daughter and a son Lawrence J. and his wife Roberta Monahan of Warren and two granddaughters, Elizabeth of Cherry Hill and Lisa of Warren. Friends and family are invited to meet at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, 130 St. Maximilian Lane, Toms River, on Monday, January 26, 2004 for an 11:30 am funeral Mass. Interment will be held privately. Arrangements are under the direction of the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung.
