Obituary of Frank J. DeFellipo, Jr.

Scotch Plains: Frank J. DeFellipo, Jr., age 39, died on Sunday, January 25, 2004 of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Plainfield, Mr. DeFellipo was a life long resident of Scotch Plains. Mr. DeFellipo received a BS Degree in 1986 from Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison. A member of Immaculate Heart of Mary R.C. Church in Scotch Plains, he was a beloved son, brother and uncle who especially enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. Mr. DeFellipo is survived by his parents Frank and Genevieve (Garafalo) DeFellipo, Sr. of Scotch Plains; his sister Laurel Turchin and her fiance Thomas Monaco of Scotch Plains and her children, Les, Scott and Johnny and his sister Jessica Wilkins and her husband Bill of Scotch Plains and their children Billy, Victoria and Sophia, and his dog Jack, who never left his side. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, January 30, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary R.C. Church in Scotch Plains followed by interment at St. Gertrudes Cemetery in Colonia. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 461 Somerset Street, North Plainfield, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family would deeply appreciate a Mass said in his memory at your Church.
