Obituary of Agnes Martha Lenox

Mrs. Agnes Martha (Creamer) Lenox, age 95, died Tuesday, January 27, 2004 at her home. Born in Worcester, MA, she resided in Elizabeth for 30 years before moving to Watchung in 1979. A Registered Nurse, Mrs. Lenox attended the Worcester Memorial School of Nursing and had practiced at Worcester Memorial Hospital for 6 years before her marriage. Mrs. Lenox was a communicant of St. Marys Stony Hill Church in Watchung. Her husband Frank J. Lenox predeceased her in 1976 as well as her son Kevin Lenox in 1987. Surviving are a son, Geoffrey Lenox and his wife Anne of Minnetonka, MN and two daughters, Carol M. Blakley and her husband Robert of Warren and Althea M. Onufer and her husband George of Watchung; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Lenox of Martinsville, 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 am from The Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, followed by a 11:30 am funeral Mass at St. Marys Stony Hill R.C. Church in Watchung and interment at St. Gertrudes Cemetery in Colonia. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
