Ormond Beach, Florida: Simon Mardak, age 89, of Ormond Beach, formerly of Washington, NJ, died on Sunday, February 8, 2004, at Florida Hospital Ormond Memorial.

Mr. Mardak is survived by his wife, Wasylyna Mardak; sons, Victor and William Mardak; daughter, Stephanie Andersen; granddaughters, Deborah Faucher and Mary Ann Andersen; grandsons, Robert Mardak and Adam Mardak; great granddaughter, Erica Faucher.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 12, 2004, at St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Memorial Church, 240 Main St., South Bound Brook, NJ. Interment will follow at St. Andrew Ukrainian Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ.
