Obituary of Genevieve H. Dusenbury

Genevieve H. (Genny) Dusenbury, age 83, died on Wednesday, February 18th at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. Genny was born in Anthony, Kansas to Lucien and Nancy Hamilton on October 23, 1920; she was the youngest of seven siblings all of which predeceased her. She married Lieutenant James A. Dusenbury on March 15, 1941, a special devoted relationship that remained until her death. She accompanied her husband to military installations in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Nebraska, Colorado, Ohio, Georgia, New York, France, Germany and the Philippine Islands. They had settled in Watchung 29 years ago, having formerly lived in Basking Ridge. Surviving are her husband of 63 years, James A. Dusenbury; two daughters; Connie Rupprecht of Shelby, North Carolina; Libby Dusenbury of Louisville, Colorado; a son, Jeffrey Dusenbury of Austin, Texas; four grandchildren, Jeffrey and Alison Rupprecht of Shelby, North Carolina and Jared and Ian Naudain of Louisville, Colorado. Graveside services were held on Saturday, February 21, 2004 at Somerset Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Basking Ridge.
