Obituary of Narciso O. Gonzalez

Narciso O. Gonzales, age 78, died on Friday, February 27, 2004 at his home in North Plainfield. Born in Cuba to the late Pedro and Maria Simeon Gonzales, Narciso came to the United States and resided in North Plainfield for the past34 years. Mr. Gonzalez worked for the Tingley Rubber Corporation in South Plainfield as a laborer retiring in 1993. He enjoyed smoking good cigars, playing the guitar, watching the Yankees play baseball and traveling to Miami, Florida to fish. Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his wife, Mirtha C. Leal Gonzalez, one son, George Gonzalez, his two daughters, Teresa Dus and her husband Stephen and Mary Besada and her husband Jose. Four grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 1st at 10 a.m. in the Higgins Home for Funerals, 461 Somerset Street, North Plainfield. Cremation will be at Somerset Hills Memorial Park in Basking Ridge. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
