Obituary of Emilie Pollock

Emilie Goodfriend Pollock, age 89, died on Saturday, March 27, 2004 at the Greenbrook Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Green Brook. Born in Plainfield, Mrs. Pollock lived in Mountainside before residing in Westfield. Mrs. Pollock worked as a bookkeeper for Shop-Rite and Pathmark retiring in 1980. Mrs. Pollock was a member of the Linden Conservative Temple in Linden, and was an avid reader. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She is predeceased by her husband, Abraham Albert Pollock in 2000. She is survived by her two sons, Lawrence Pollock of Kenilworth and Michael Pollock of Wayne. One brother, Daniel Goodfriend of Pittston, PA; one sister Blanche Glasser of Plainfield. Five grandchildren, Julie Anne, William, Marisa, Brett and Robin. The funeral service will be held on Monday, March 29, 2004 at the Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield (call funeral home for time).
