Obituary of Elizabeth F. LeBreton

Elizabeth F. (nee Gilmour) LeBreton, age 55, died on Friday, April 9, 2004 at her home. Born in Staten Island, NY, Mrs. LeBreton grew up in Westfield, had lived in Maryland a short time, before residing in Plainfield in 1988. She graduated from Westfield High School and attended Union County College nights to obtain her B.A. degree in Computer Science in 1987. Elizabeth was an avid reader who loved cooking, baking, painting and crafts. She was also a strong believer in civil rights for everyone, as well as an animal rights advocate. She is survived by her daughter, Heather B. LeBreton of Linden. Her father and mother, John R.H. and Elizabeth N. Broad Gilmour of Westfield. One brother, John R.B. Gilmour and his wife Debbie of Matamoras, PA; two sisters, Barbara Lea Rawson and her husband Doug of Branchville and Laurie Sue Aylward and her husband James of West Milford; and one grandson, Zachary C. LeBreton, who was her pride and joy. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 14th at 11:30 a.m. in the Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 13th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
