Obituary of Margaret A. Pittenger

Margaret Peggy A. (Feeley) Pittenger, 64, died Monday, April 19, 2004 at the Haven Hospice at JFK Medical Center in Edison. Born in Westfield, daughter of the late John and Hilda (Fox) Feeley, she resided in Green Brook since 1963. Peggy was a devoted mother and grandmother. Peggy will be remembered as a kind, generous and loving woman who opened her heart unconditionally to family and friends. She was an avid reader who enjoyed traveling and visiting the beach.. A brother, Terrance Feeley predeceased her. Surviving are a son, John P. Pittenger of Green Brook; three daughters, Michele P. Cuddihy and her husband Robert V., Jr. of Basking Ridge, Susan M. Pittenger and her husband Marvin Baker of Reno, NV and Kelly A. Pittenger of Glen Gardner; a brother, J. Donald Feeley of CT and three grandchildren, Brendan John, Shea Lynn and Tara Elizabeth Cuddihy. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 23, 2004 at 9:30 am from the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, followed by a 10 am funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Mount R.C. Church in Warren and interment at Somerset Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Basking Ridge. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
