Obituary of Joan Susan Monticchio

Ms. Joan Susan Monticchio, 50, died suddenly on Monday, April 26, 2004 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington. Born in Newark, she resided in Warren and North Plainfield before moving to Tewksbury 10 years ago. A 1971 graduate of Watchung Hills Regional High School in Warren, Joan was employed as an office manager for Cusick Moving and Storage in North Plainfield for the past 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her father Romeo Monticchio predeceased her in 1967. Surviving are two daughters, Kellie Cornelison and Kimberly Cornelison of Tewksbury; her mother, Anna Fernandes Monticchio of North Plainfield, a brother, Robert Monticchio of Watchung and her loving companion, Alex Vela of Plainfield. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 29 at 10:00 am at Wilson Memorial Union Church in Watchung. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung.
