Obituary of Diana B. Karpowicz

Martinsville: Diana B. (nee Joseph) Karpowicz, died on Saturday, May 8, 2004 at her home in Martinsville. Mrs. Karpowicz was born and raised in Jersey City to the late Joseph and Amelia Ramos Joseph; she lived in Sayreville for awhile before residing in Martinsville in 1963. Mrs. Karpowicz was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church in Martinsville, she was an owner of thoroughbred horses and she enjoyed bus trips to Atlantic City. Mrs. Karpowicz is predeceased by her husband George E. Karpowicz in 2001. She is survived by her son Michael G. Karpowicz of High Bridge; one sister Doreen Chrobocinski of Monroe. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 12th at 9:15 a.m. from the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Boulevard, Watchung followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church in Martinsville. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 11th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
