Obituary of Helen Iness Carr

Helen Iness Pistoresi Carr, 99, died Monday, May 10, 2004 at the Ember Care Maclay Care Center in Sylmar, California. Born in West Hoboken, New Jersey, she resided in Jamaica, Queens and North Plainfield at the Villa Maria for many years before moving to California 5 years ago. Prior to retiring in 1962, she was employed for 10 years as a mortgage loan officer for Jamaica Savings Bank in Jamaica, Queens. Her husband, John, predeceased her in 1983, three sons, John and Edward in 1995, and Robert, in 1937, also predeceased her. Surviving are five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, living in California, Oregon, Georgia and New Jersey. A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 17, 2004 at 12:00 noon at the Green Ridge Cemetery, Green Ridge Drive, Brodheadsville, PA.
