Obituary of Joseph Bronikowski
Joseph J. Bronikowski, age 77, died on Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at Beth Israel
Medical Center in Newark. He was born in Bayonne and lived there until moving to Bridgewater in 1971.
Mr. Bronikowski is predeceased by his wife, Helen, in 1996.
Mr. Bronikowski served in the Army during World War II. He received a BA degree in Architecture from Catholic University in Washington, D.C. and maintained a private practice for about 40 years before retiring in 1992.
Mr. Bronikowski served on the Bayonne Medical Center Board of Trustees for over 30 years and was a member of the Rotary International. He was an avid sailor.
Surviving are his son, Joseph Bronikowski III of Palo Alto, CA; his daughters, Karen
Futral of Arlington, MA, Lauren Vasquez of Watchung; and his identical twin brother, Walter of Brielle.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 15th at 9:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung followed by a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at Blessed Sacrament Church in Martinsville. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge. Visitation will be on Friday, May 14th from 2-4 & 7-9 at the funeral home.
