Like many people who have written about Crissy, I too have vivid memories of her as an adorable little girl with curly blond hair. I feel privileged that I was also able to see her grow up into an intelligent, beautiful, talented, kind young woman. Crissy's spirit, even in the face of her illness, was amazing to me and she has inspired
me to live my life to the fullest and to be thankful for every day. Mrs. Oldenboom, Cindy, Cheryl and Cathy- Your love and care for Crissy is also an inspiration. My heart aches for all of you but I hope you take comfort in believing that Crissy is an angel in Heaven now and we will all see her again.
Love,

I met Cindy when I was in kindegarten and we have remains great friends ever since. I can't even imagine how Cindy, Cheryl or Cathy feel at this horrible time in their lives even more so their Mom, Barbara, a truly remarkable and strong woman just like Crissy. Crissy got her strength from her Mom and sisters and she never gave up hope. Every time I went to see her or spoke with her on the phone, even during her roughest times, she always made sure to ask how I was doing and if I was okay...never complaining about herself and her illness, never, never being negative. Always asking about others and that is how I will always remember my friend, Crissy as a caring, courageous, beautiful young woman who fought as hard as she could until the very end. I will never, ever forget her great personality, funny sense of humor and compassionate ways. She is and always will be in my heart.
I miss you Crissy Beth Oldenboom and I pray for your family especially your Mom. Please watch over her and help her be strong.
We all love you so much Crissy

I am saddened to learn only an hour ago of the passing of my cherished neice, Crissy Beth Oldenboom...and I extend my heartfelt thoughts to her mother, to her sisters and to all who loved and cherished her and prayed for her recovery. I would like to share with her family the following: "When we come to the end of all the Light we know and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown, faith is the knowing that one of two things shall happen; either we will be given something solid to stand on or we will be taught how to fly." --
Dearest Crissy: We take you with us in our hearts, where you have always been-- will ever be. All Love, Gerry.

Dear Cindy,Mrs. Oldenboom, Cheryl,Cathy,Hawk,R.J.,Jeff,Tony,Steve and Lydia, My very first memory of Crissy was watching her turn cartwheels on your front lawn, with her beautiful blonde hair bouncing all around. We do hope that God will give you His peace that passes all understanding.
