Obituary of Eleanore R. Carrar

Eleanore R. Fullagar Carrar, 89, died Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Born in Jutland, NJ, she resided in Watchung from 1940 to 1956 when she moved to Warren Township. She returned to Watchung recently, residing at Watchung Ridge Assisted Living. Mrs. Carrar was a past Brownie and Girl Scout Leader in Watchung, a member of the Queen City Sweet Adelines, a member of the National Rifle Association of America and the Italian American Club of North Plainfield. In addition, she was an honorary member of the Outback Four Wheeler Club, a charter member of the Statue of Liberty Ellis Island Foundation and was a past member of Ducks Unlimited. Her husband, Francis Santi Carrar predeceased her April 21, 1997. She leaves behind her brother Robert Fullagar of Meyersville and many wonderful nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10 am at the Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, followed by private interment. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
