Obituary of M. Claire Moore

M. Claire Moore, age 88, died on Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at Sunnyside Manor in Manasquan. Miss Moore was born in Oyster Bay, NY and lived in North Bergen, NJ before moving to Manasquan in 1999. Miss Moore graduated from St. Vincents Hospital School of Nursing in New York City. She was a Registered Nurse specializing in private duty care for many years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Chapel in West Orange. She is predeceased by her brother, Sylvester Moore and her sister, Jean Leichner. Surviving are her sister Agnes Higgins of Brielle and her brother, Francis X. Moore, M.D. of Oyster Bay and many nephews and nieces. A Requiem Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd, Watchung. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
