Obituary of Bernardine Williams

Mrs. Bernardine (Friend) Williams, 61, died Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison. Born in Randolph, VA, she resided in Jersey City and Newark before moving to Plainfield 32 years ago. Prior to retiring in early 2003, Mrs. Williams was employed for 10 years by Kellys Services. Her father William Friend predeceased her. Surviving are her husband James Williams, a son Renaldo and his wife Belinda Williams of Plainfield, a daughter, Kassandra Williams-Woodard and her husband Cornell of Plainfield; her mother Gertrude Friend of Plainfield and five grandchildren, James, Wahjira and Jeremiah Williams, David Ali and Jamil Jordan.
