Obituary of Jessica Cecilia Regan

Mrs. Jessica Cecilia (Ramsey) Regan, 92, died Saturday October 16th, 2004 at the Hospice at Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield. Daughter of the late Harry Francis and Catherine Ramsey, she was born and raised in Bronx NY and moved to Plainfield in 1954. Prior to retiring in 1974, she was employed as a bookkeeper for Lockheed Corporation in Watchung for more than 20 years. Jessica was a longtime member of St. Marys R.C. Church in Plainfield and its Rosary Altar Society. Her husband John W. Regan, former tax collector of the City of Plainfield and former trustee for St. Marys Church, predeceased her in 1978. In addition her five sisters, Veronica Ramsey, Rita Spanuello, Elizabeth Spanuello, Ida Johnston and Beatrice Kull all predeceased her. Surviving are many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday October 20th at 9:30 am from Higgins Home for Funerals 209 West 8th St. Plainfield, NJ 07060 followed by a 10:00 am funeral mass at St. Marys R.C. Church in Plainfield and interment at St. Marys Cemetery in Plainfield. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
