Obituary of Mary Fusco

Mary Fusco, age 100, died on Tuesday, October 26th at Brandywine Assisted Living in Bridgewater. She was born in Bound Brook and had lived in North Plainfield for over 50 years. . Mrs. Fusco was a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. Josephs RC Church in North Plainfield and its Rosary Altar Society. She was also a member of the Watchung Senior Citizens Center. Mrs. Fusco loved playing bingo. She is predeceased by her husband, Louis in 1971; her son Louis, Jr. and his wife Carol; her daughter Frances Mascioli and 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Surviving are her sons, Charles Fusco and his wife Madeline of Berkeley Heights, Dominic Fusco and his wife Marge of Toms River, August Fusco and his wife Phyllis of Manalapan; her daughters Virginia Flash and her husband Alex of Toms River and Gloria Barras and her late husband Earl of Lantana, FL. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 9:00 am on Friday, October 29th at Higgins Home for Funerals. 461 Somerset Street, North Plainfield followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass at St. Josephs RC Church in Plainfield. Interment will follow at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in South Plainfield. Visitation will be on Thursday from 6 10 pm.
