Obituary of Dorothy L Anderson

Dorothy L. Anderson, age 77 died on Tuesday, October 26, 2004 at Genesis Elder Care in Clark. She was born in Danville, VA and was a long time resident of Plainfield. Mrs. Anderson was a Nurses Aid for Upjohn Pharmaceutical in Westfield. She was a member of the Zion Baptist Church in Westfield and the Elks Club in Westfield. She enjoyed cooking and she liked to entertain. Mrs. Anderson is survived by her son, Willie C. Anderson of Plainfield; her grandchildren, Willie Anderson, Jr., Latoya Anderson and Dorothy Pryor; her cousin, Odessa Peterson of Newark and many close friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 29th at 11:00a.m. at Higgins Home for Funerals, 209 West 8th Street, Plainfield. Interment will follow at Rosehill Cemetery in Linden. Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
