Obituary of Helen T. McCarthy

Helen T. McCarthy, age 83, died on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Brandywine at Middlebrook Crossing Bridgewater. She was born in Scranton, PA and had lived in North Plainfield for many years. Mrs. McCarthy was employed by Boises Stationers in Plainfield, NJ as a wedding consultant. She was a Communicant of St. Luke's RC Church in North Plainfield. She loved to read and spend time with her extended family. She especially enjoyed all of the young people in her life that gave her so much laughter and happiness. Mrs. McCarthy is survived by her daughter, Kathleen A. Impallomeni and her husband, Robert of Whitehouse Station; her son, Michael McCarthy of Brigantine, NJ; her brother, William Simerson of Scranton, PA and her sister, Theresa Fracas of Allentown, PA. A joyful visitation will be held from 3 to 8 pm on Thursday, December 20th at Higgins Home for Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ. A funeral Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Church, 316 William St. Scranton, PA. Interment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton, PA.
